USP Elevator Pitch

Goal: Effectively present yourself to a stranger in 2 minutes and make the best possible first impression in a job interview.

To write your own pitch proceed as follows:

1. Reflect

• What do I (really) enjoy doing?
• What are my 3 most outstanding qualities?
• What makes me unique?
• What is my USP (unique selling proposition)?
• What are my professional goals?

2. Write

Summarize the answers to the following three questions in one or two sentences.

• Who am I?
• What do I do?
• How does the person benefit from my existence?

The pitch should: arouse curiosity, use simple language & describe what makes me special.
