Interview Reflection
Listen to your inner voice; in addition to all the hard facts, your gut feeling also plays an important role.
- What is my overall impression after the conversation and why?
- How did I feel during the conversation?
- How do I feel now?
- What knowledge and experience can I contribute?
- What is new to me?
- Does the position match my goals?
- Why?
- What don’t I like about it?
- Can I imagine working well with this supervisor?
- What does my gut feeling tell me?
- Do I know the most important teammates?
- Can I imagine us working well together?
- Did I feel comfortable?
- Is there a framework for further development?
- On the job?
- Off the job?
- Was I able to ask my prepared questions?
- Are there any outstanding issues?
- Which ones?
- Are there any reasons outside the company that would argue against working there?
- Commute?
- Do I want to pursue the application further?
- What further steps have we agreed on?
- Who do I give feedback to and by when?
- From whom will I receive feedback and by when?
- Regardless of the decision, how did I feel about myself as an interviewee?
- Would I like to do things differently in the future?
