Listen to your inner voice; in addition to all the hard facts, your gut feeling also plays an important role.

  • What is my overall impression after the conversation and why?
  • How did I feel during the conversation?
    • How do I feel now?
  • What knowledge and experience can I contribute?
    • What is new to me?
  • Does the position match my goals?
    • Why?
    • What don’t I like about it?
  • Can I imagine working well with this supervisor?
    • What does my gut feeling tell me?
  • Do I know the most important teammates?
    • Can I imagine us working well together?
    • Did I feel comfortable?
  • Is there a framework for further development?
    • On the job?
    • Off the job?
  • Was I able to ask my prepared questions?
    • Are there any outstanding issues?
    • Which ones?
  • Are there any reasons outside the company that would argue against working there?
    • Commute?
  • Do I want to pursue the application further?
  • What further steps have we agreed on?
    • Who do I give feedback to and by when?
    • From whom will I receive feedback and by when?
  • Regardless of the decision, how did I feel about myself as an interviewee?
    • Would I like to do things differently in the future?
